our
Operation

With several established factories in Tecate, San Diego, and Los Angeles, we have the flexibility to produce in Mexico or manage quick turns here in Southern California. Our current production capacity is 500,000 pieces per month. We have multiple trucks delivering daily from the border to Los Angeles.

In Tecate, we have over 80,000 sqft of print, dye, and warehouse space between 3 different factories. This includes 9 printing presses, 2 dye houses, 10 sample presses, four 12-head embroidery machines, and warehouse space that houses $3 million in blank inventory. We also have a quality control team in Mexico which allows us to receive first-hand updates on orders.

In Southern California, we have a 13,000 sqft print shop with 3 printing presses and a packing department, as well as a 30,000 sqft dye house. Additionally, we have 8,000 sqft of warehouse and office space.

In all, we have over 130,000 sqft of print, dye, and warehouse space in the region. our
process

01

Procure Garments

We have longstanding relationships with manufacturers like Gildan, Fruit of the Loom, and Optima Cotton which allows us to purchase a wide variety of garments at competitive prices. We stock inventory in our factories so the blanks are ready to go straight into production.

03

Treatment & Printing

We have the capacity to print and dye 500,000 pieces per month. Our quality control team in Mexico regularly communicates first-hand updates on orders. Having multiple factories allows us to consistently offer competitive pricing and timeliness to our customers.

02

Sampling

Our Production Team works closely with our customers to ensure the sampling process is a smooth one. We have 10 sample presses dedicated to sampling at our factories, allowing us to complete them quickly and efficiently.

04

Packing & Shipping

Many of our customers have specific packing requirements, all of which is handled at our factories. From there, our in-house Logistics Team coordinates the shipment and delivery of the finished product to our customers. We have trucks delivering daily from the border to Los Angeles.

our
story

LKWID was born in 2013 with the vision of simplifying the production process.

Owners Michael and Christina crossed paths professionally in 2006 while Michael was the owner of Print, Inc., a North San Diego County-based print shop producing for the likes of No Fear and DC Shoes, and Christina was successfully running her own apparel and novelty item company, which she started in 1991.

With 50+ years of combined industry experience, they teamed up to build a company that could efficiently handle every step of the production process, something they found was missing prior. As LKWID grew, the operation expanded to new customers, new factories, and new team members to support the increasing order volume.

Today, LKWID has print, dye, and warehouse space throughout Southern California and Mexico with the capacity to produce 500,000 units per month. Our awesome North County-based team handles product development, inventory, production, and delivery logistics for our customers.

Our goal is to continue bringing effective solutions to our customers, and we’re excited to hear how we can help grow your business.
